The Spanish and Senegalese governments collaborated on a project to improve the lives of 300,000 people in the most vulnerable and food insecure part of the country. This film documents the results of those efforts two years after they began.

Brave

In many countries in West and Central Africa, human rights defenders are often the target of harassment, arbitrary arrest, and torture. Mauritania, Chad and Sierra Leone are particularly difficult places to fight the abuse of power. Amnesty International sent me to tell the stories of those who are brave enough to do so.

Ebola response in Guinea

The Open Society Initiative for West Africa supports projects and organizations that work toward transparency and good governance throughout the region. But the Ebola crisis disrupted everything so OSIWA, too, changed its course to help stop the deadly virus.
